Dry cleaners in the UK are disappearing, and no one’s doing anything to save them. Meanwhile, Depop users are sick of receiving stained, musty clothes with no easy way to return them.

So, why not bring these two problems together to create a solution? Our idea: Give dry cleaners a new purpose by making them official collection points for Depop sellers and buyers. Sellers drop off their clothes for a proper clean before shipping, and buyers pick up their freshly cleaned purchases straight from the dry cleaner. This isn’t just about clean clothes—it’s about reviving local businesses and building trust in second-hand fashion. Depop sellers keep their reputation spotless, buyers get clothes that feel brand new, and dry cleaners become essential again. Win-win-win.
